The question of the intellectual and cultural marginalisation of Central and Eastern European countries, and particularly the Visegrad group since the fall of communism, has demonstrated the need for a re-invention of democratic culture in the region and within the context of the EU. Krytyka Politcyzna is a civil society organisation based in Poland, but active across Central and Eastern Europe, that considers solidarity as one of their main driving forces. In this concluding case study, we investigate the work of a specific organisation and its attempts, successes and failures in developing a transnational working practices in the Visegrad region and Ukraine.[1]
